For many of us, shampoo and conditioner are everyday essentials we barely think about.
But for families living in remote communities across Australia, these simple items can become luxuries.
In some remote communities, everyday groceries and personal care products can cost double (even triple) city prices due to freight costs, isolation and limited access to affordable supplies.
That means something as simple as washing your hair can become difficult when every dollar must go toward food, fuel, power and keeping a family afloat.
This EOFY, we are raising funds to purchase shampoo and conditioner for 2,000 Happy Boxes heading to remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
